even if some of those friends are evil despots who a) sing "older b) use slang you don't know and c) wave their fingers in front of your face in a taunting manner? even then?

Yes - dear ol' Steve is such an uber-geek that his enthusiasim is infectious. He reminds me strongly of Lars(My husband - who you will read more than you want to of - especially lately since he has been doing stupid things!) who is a computer Uber-geek. I'm glad that Cambride is wonderful! Laura is great - I think she has an LJ too but I keep forgetting to actually write down the name of it! Did she tell you I'm going to Scotland this summer?

Anyway - enough spamming on my part - its delightful to hear from you and know you are well :)

Laura's username is lauralyrics (I'm too lazy to find the html), but I hadn't heard about Scotland. How exciting! I was in the Highlands with my family about a month ago--it was really gorgeous, but things will probably be a bit livelier when you're there in the summer.
